Crystal Bed
An application using cut rock crystals and coloured light above the clothed body.

What is a crystal bed?
Seven clear, cut rock crystals are positioned above a comfortable treatment table. They are associated with the seven main chakras and illuminated with coloured light. The crystal bed is understood as a form of spiritual and energetic light work.
What happens during a session?
You lie on your back, fully clothed and covered. The crystals are aligned above the corresponding areas of the body. An eye mask protects you from the light and can make it easier to turn inward; quiet music may accompany the session.
Depending on the chosen format, the session lasts around 20 to 60 minutes. During this time, you do not have to do anything or achieve anything in particular.
Space for quiet and awareness
How this time is experienced varies from person to person. Some people notice warmth or coolness, tingling, inner images or emotions. Others primarily experience quiet, fall asleep or notice nothing unusual. None of this has to occur.
Spiritual background
In energetic models, crystals are ascribed storing, transmitting or amplifying properties. I understand the crystal bed as a spiritual and energetic application.
I have heard accounts of remarkable healing experiences in connection with the crystal bed and have also personally witnessed processes that impressed me deeply. These experiences remain individual and cannot be generalised to others; what may emerge during a session remains open.
The crystal bed can be used as a quiet stand-alone session or incorporated into a longer treatment appointment.
Medical context
Symptoms whose cause is unclear or which may be potentially dangerous should be assessed by a physician. My work does not replace necessary medical treatment. I am not aware of scientific recognition of the effectiveness of the methods and approaches I use.
