Exhaustion and burnout

Body-oriented support for persistent overload, prolonged stress and the feeling of being burnt out.

Persistent overload and prolonged stress can reach a point at which recovery no longer seems to happen. You may feel physically and emotionally exhausted, empty or burnt out, and notice that concentration, enjoyment and energy are diminishing.

No need to achieve even more

An appointment at LomiVersum is not intended to become another task that you have to complete successfully. You may arrive slowly, settle and be present with what is there. The aim is not to make you function again as quickly as possible.

Prolonged stress is also experienced physically

Strain can manifest in muscular tension, changes in breathing, inner restlessness, sleep problems, pain or a feeling of disconnection. Bodywork, attentive touch, conversation, breathing and body awareness can offer different approaches. Together, we consider what is appropriate for you at that particular time.

Not defining burnout prematurely

The term burnout is commonly used for a state of physical and emotional exhaustion resulting from prolonged overload. Similar symptoms can, however, also be associated with physical illness, depression, an anxiety disorder or other causes. Medical or psychotherapeutic assessment may therefore be necessary.

Body-oriented support and treatment

Within my work as a Heilpraktiker, I can treat states of exhaustion, persistent overload and stress-related symptoms through body-oriented work and body psychotherapy. The focus is on body awareness, relief and your own way of relating to boundaries and needs. Together, we consider what is appropriate at that particular time.

In a brief preliminary phone call, we can clarify what brings you here and whether my work may be suitable for your situation.

Medical context

Symptoms whose cause is unclear or that could indicate a serious condition should be medically assessed. My work does not replace necessary medical treatment. I am not aware of scientific recognition of the effectiveness of the methods and approaches I use.
